Hello from Tokyo – Colour me Beautiful

I just spent the last few days in Tokyo – it was my birthday present from The Man. Thank you! Tokyo is one of the most exciting cities in the world in many aspects and I love visiting Tokyo for their food – the quality of food never fails to impress. Tokyo has the highest number of Michelin awarded restaurants in the world.

It was in the middle of their winter; it was snowing on the second day I got here! Quite exciting really – it’s been a long time since I’ve been out in the snow. Temperature was around 3°C/35°F!

On this trip, I packed in my black Chanel Classic Jumbo (my current travel must-have), flat boots, and black coat; as basics for the cold weather. As a strong believer that dressing for winter doesn’t mean limiting your options to black, brown, or grey; I recommend styling the neutral basics with colours.

The easiest way to add the pop of colour into your winter outfit is through the scarf when wearing it with a neutral colour coat. In my outfit, I wore a purple scarf which highlighted the pink on the face. I styled my outfit with royal blue jeans to continue the pop of colour when I’m indoors without my coat and scarf.

Thanks for reading – saying “Bye!” to Tokyo today and the next stop is Singapore! Temperature is expected to be around 30°C/90°F! I’ll be catching up again in Singapore.
